I need some advice. I enjoy fantasy based Anime. Those Who Hunt Elves, Louie the Rune Soldier, Legend of Crystalia etc.
I would like to see more of this genre, but have no idea what others are out there!
For some reason I also enjoy the Vampire based genre. Vampire Hunter D, Blood the Last Vampire, and Vampire Princess Miyu are amongst my top ten. I've seen every episode of Helsing twice!
HELP!

You might also like Blood+ if you liked vampire anime(it's not a vampire anime though)

if you like pizza I suggest you the Kefta Kabob (but thats not a pizza though) 
All jokes apart Blood+ is a classic, kick-ass anime.

Scrapped princess is good. rather funny and one of the guys has a halberd and halberds are awesome.
**MASSIVE SPOILER**
Even though it wasn't fully high fantasy, it had some post apocolyptic elements in it seeing that it was the world after the human race lost an galatic war and were put into a bird cage like thing.
The Records of the Loddoss war are also good. Very serious adventure there though.
Slayers is good if you want a comical look at fantasy. I'm posting this on the forums here as soon as I get off my lazy rear.

Hello everyone ^_^
I would like to recommend
Onegai teacher

In truth I was a little suprised that I haven't seen it on your forums. I would personally rate this anime right up near Kanon and CLANNAD. I should be able to download all the episodes again if I can remember the anime site I found them at or at least send one of the Admins or Mods the link to it.
The second part that came out after this was
Onegai Twins
I did not like this film as much however it was nice to be able to see some of the characters from the first one still living out their lives etc. Given the Onegai Twins has a little bit of a different story but takes place in the same location. So it was a good familar feeling.
All the same that would be my recommended anime.

me and my friend rediscovered it in hmv (we used to watch it on CN when like 7) were guessing that the english aired version was heavily censored (nudity) is very goodbut some of the voice acting is odd (the screams for Tenchi seem half hearted > ) other wise brill! its on veoh but not on piggymoo which isodd...maybe to be added at some point in the future? |
