Ameron also hears the sound as whatever it is gets closer. A rustling in the undergrowth of the forest.

My character is a medium sized human of east Asian origin. His leg and arm are bandaged. He is clad only in a simple loin cloth and cloak. His only other possessions appear to be a staff, a small sack upon his back.
