So I'm kinda fed up with the current frontpage and was thinking of making a new one and here it is!

so whats needed is:
- A header and a layout with pretty smooth edges
- Styling
Those are the things I need your help with Since I fail ;(, What I need from you are:
- Lovely animu scenery pics(preferably snapshots from episodes!) that could be used in the header(like I did in the old one with the FMA pic)
- Pics of animeguys or sg1/sga guys(preferably snapshots from episodes!)
Make sure these are clear pics that can be used:/
or if you feel like making a header you can make it 900x150 or 900x200, there will most likely be different headers ^^

some questions here 
What colors do you want/plan to use for the site? Same as now or something different?
And what about the header? Which kind did u have in mind? a big banner pic or 2 small at the sides?
Example: xD
And i take it that you want something like this and not a cutout?
(btw i wanted the background from this pic from the CLANNAD intro. Anyone have a clue which ep that scene is from?) |

The colors I do not know, I mostly make them around the header ;(. and it'll be one complete header, with the navigation overlapping with 50% opacity on white. note that this is for the frontpage of the site, not for the forum ^^
And yes, preferably something like that, with a snapshot like that you can make the header look as one piece, whilst a cutout also needs photoshopping with it(which I can't make pretty ^^)
lastly I dont think that scene is elsewhere instead of the intro ;(

okey thought u were reforming it all first
Which shows and animes would pref to have in the banner? like favorites or the most watched...
I guess i got some clue about it but good to know which ones to focus on nonetheless. 
And one more thing. Am i right when i take it you want a banner sorta like the current one or this one, with characters from several shows/anime? |

- It'll be a fixed size header, at 900x150 or 900x200
- There will be no changes to the forum, except for the anime topics, so you can use any colour you like. I prefer light ones though

I'm not looking for a banner cluttered with anime characters(like our current one and animetakes).
but for a simple scenetic one, Examples:
Itcould actually be one from like just nagisa => http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg46/Swedan91/vlcsnap-43271.png
but also a combination of nagisa and 2 wraith hyveships shooting the hell out of eachother on the background.
The point is actually to make it one whole, which is hard ;(

Sorry, but not something like that...
I'm really looking for 'moments' to use as a header, thats why the screencaps~
example I made in a few minuts~ just a snap from one of the fma intros

Could be, but fighting scenes aren't really good for headers(and bleach sucks:(), Also make sure that the videosource is at least 1024x576 or higher or sharpen and fix it with photoshop
This is why I asked for:

i am useing it for examples and feed back wanted. the windowin the coner is the name of the show if you don't like it i can remove it and as for the aspect ratio yes it could ues some work.
