Slayers

Lina Inverse, a wandering sorceress and bandit-killer, joins forces with roving swordsman Gourry Gabriev in what's supposed to be a quick union of convenience. Instead, an artifact Lina "liberated" from a gang of thieves turns out to be the key to the resurrection of the demon lord Shabranigdo. Urged on by the mysterious Red Priest Rezo, the pair has no choice but to fight the dark lord and his servants, accumulating new allies and enemies along the way.

Note: this is a comedy for the most part till it reaches the more serious parts of the story. So if you are looking for longwinded epic, this is not it. But if you are looking for a good laugh, loveable characters, and a series that is like DnD on Tequila and chili peppers. This is it.

Slayers: Next

Summary: Lina, Gourry, Zelgadis, and Amelia coincidently meet up again and begin to search for the Clair Bible. During their search they run into a mysterious priest named Xelloss who seems to know a thing or two about the passages they're looking for, but he tends to get them into more trouble instead of out of it. Furthermore, they discover that the Monster race has plans of their own, and as it turns out, Lina and Company just might be a big part of their evil intentions.

Note: This is the season that shines the best in my opinion.

Slayers: Try

Plot Summary: Several months have passed (after the end of Slayers Next). The barrier put in place by the mazoku sublords has been broken, and as a result, Lina Inverse and her friends are allowed access to the outside world. There they become wrapped up in a prophecy stating that a dark lord from another dimension, Dark Star Dugradigdo, will enter their world and spread chaos.

Personal Note: sorry for this being late. I kept pushing it off and forgot about it till recently. So here is the last season that was made. In my opinion it is the weakest of the three, but still amusing none the less.

Slayer Revolution

Plot Summary: Having lost the Sword of Light in the previous battle, Lina and Gourry continue their journey in search of a replacement weapon. On the way, the two of them meet up with Amelia and Zelgadis in the kingdom of Luvinagard while taunting some pirates. Lina is happy to reunite with her old friends, but appearing before her is Luvinagard's Inspector of the Special Investigative Unit; a man called Wizer. However, Lina is amazed at his unusual behavior...

Personal Note: Thought I might as well add these seeing i'm on a roll with fixing these links. Only thing is that unlike the last three seasons this one is subbed seeing there is no dub yet. though its been so long since the 3rd season I doubt the actors would sound the same if they could find them. ANyhow. Enjoy.

Slayers Excellent
The first set of 3 OVAs that give a bit of history of what Lina was dealing with before she ran into Gourry. Back when she was mostly alone, Except when she was being bothered by a sorceress named Naga the serpent.

Notes: animation is a bit different, and the english voice actors were changed. But still solid comedy.

Yeah. looks like youtube hit the TV series of this. I'll see about relinking them if the guy rehosts them... that is going to be painful... *shudders at the thought of redoing all the links*

On the other hand, the OVAs and the movies are untouched. So they can still be watched. They are stand alone from the TV series seeing that they are suppose to happen before the events of season 1 (except for the 5th movie which takes place right after season 2). So you can watch them without spoiling what happens on the TV series.

There is an entire new season coming out for this. Slayers:Revolution. The first episode has been out for some time and the second just came out as a torrent today.

Weee. Fixed all the TV series links. Enjoy them while they are up. I'm not going to fix them any time soon if they go down again <.< >.> Takes forever Crying or Very sad

Also got all the 4th TV series I could find, I'll see about adding more as they are subbed.

Now I just need to get around to fixing Crest of the Stars <.< >.>

When I make mass links, I copy paste the [url=]episode [/url] so I don't have to type it all over again every time because i'm lazy. Anyhow. I don't think 8 or 9 are out yet. most likely when 8 comes out i'll copy that up to episode 13. or I might be a bit lazy and not. Very Happy
